Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kids MMA Instructor- Pete Ferroni

Pete Ferroni a South Jersey native was brought up in Pennsauken and Cinnaminson and has been in South Jersey for all his life, Pete graduated from Cinnaminson High School in 2004 and started with regular workouts in Gym, although he was working out in Gym was not very much fascinated and so was introduced by a friend to ‘Professor’ Marco Perrazo and New Jersey Martial Arts, With loads of confusion in mind, Pete decided to give it a try and was amazed with the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the very first class.

Pete also noticed a great boost in self confidence after he started with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He used to be very nervous among the crowds, however with regular practice, he now performs, competes among hundreds of people.  He also likes that he has gotten to meet so many interesting people, and has made so many great friends through training and competitions.

Pete started training students at NJMA in 2010 and loves to watch someone that he has helped, compete and do well in tournaments.

Kids Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Instructor- Steve Kiss

After completing graduation and 3 year varsity letterman in soccer from Cinnaminson High in 1997, Steven Kiss attended BCC and played soccer followed by which he joined US military. While on active duty in US Air Force as a weapons specialist.  Steven Kiss began training at New Jersey Martial Arts under Marco Perazzo in 2008. He served honorably in the United States Air Force as a weapons specialist and proudly served during Operation Allied Force in Kosovo and Enduring Freedom in Iraq. Steve now proudly represents Team NJMA at Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournaments, MMA Fights, and Muay Thai fights.

“Training with” Professor” Marco and team NJMA has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I’ve gained lifelong friendships with my training partners and coaches. It has given me an invigorated sense of purpose and brought my life more meaning. MMA and BJJ Instructor- Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes is associated with New Jersey Martial Arts (NJMA) Maple Shade since 2007 with providing training to students and practitioners under the guidance of “Professor” Marco Perrazo.

Chris is a graduate from The College of New Jersey in elementary education and has always been interested to look for an opportunity to stay in shape and with the advice of a close friend, Chris discovered the secrets of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which not only helped him to stay fit and in shape but also revised his outlook towards life.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has helped Chris lose 50 pounds and regained his competitive edge. His motive as an instructor is to build thoughtful and fun training experience to the class. His belief in hard work, patience and dedications has helped many students to overcome challenges in life.

Bryan Preston- BJJ and MMA Instructor at NJMA

Preston family has inculcated Martial Arts in their family long back with Bryan taking its training in Martial Arts in 1994. With Bryan, his other siblings Tony, Scott and Sara also joined the training and were well supported by parents, close friends and relatives. All of them achieved the rank of black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Bryan though black belt in Tae Kwon Do, also very interested in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has achieved purple belt in BJJ under black belt “Professor” Marco Perrazo with the aim to obtain Black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Bryan is well experienced with 20 years of practice and training (as a trainer) combined.

Bryan is very active with tournaments in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other grappling competitions, he actively participates in various activities such as Mud Runs, Tough Mudders and Beach Runs.

Bryan is also associated with Star Physical Therapy as a part time therapist helping patients in their rehab programs. In addition to train martial arts, Bryan is also a graduate in Nutrition and Persoanl training . Bryan received his Personal Training, Nutrition and Wellness Consultant Certification from the AFPA in 2007 and in 2010 became Marlton’s Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Coach (NESTA/MMACA), and Fitness Nutrition Coach (NESTA).
